The World TEFL Association offers official accreditation to private academies, online schools, training centers and institutional providers of TEFL/TESOL certification. Whether you operate in-person or virtually, WTA accreditation confirms that your training meets internationally accepted standards in methodology, academic quality, trainer qualifications, and learner outcomes.
Accredited providers receive the authority to issue TEFL/TESOL certificates under the WTA framework and gain access to our global registry of endorsed institutions.

WTA-accredited providers receive the right to issue TEFL/TESOL certificates under the WTA endorsement and display our official accreditation seal. They are listed in our Global Registry of WTA, trusted by employers and regulatory bodies around the world. Our framework helps schools improve program quality, attract students, and qualify for educational partnerships and funding initiatives.
Each accredited provider is assigned a verification number, certificate and badge undergoes regular audits by the Accreditation Committee, and is supported with resources, visibility, and peer collaboration across the WTA network.
