Complete Application Form

Choose your application type (teacher certification or institutional accreditation) and complete the short online form. It takes less than 10 minutes.

Confirmation of Submission

You will receive a confirmation email within 1–2 business days. If anything is missing, our team will reach out to clarify.

Application Review

Our accreditation specialists will assess your submission and verify that it meets the required criteria.

Consultation / Interview (if applicable)

For institutional accreditation or advanced certification, we may schedule a short call to discuss your goals, review documentation, and provide next steps.

Payment of Fees

Once approved, you will receive an invoice for your selected service. After payment is confirmed, we begin the certification or accreditation process.

Requirements

For Individual Teachers:

  • Must be 18+ years old
  • English language proficiency required (if not a native speaker): equivalent to IELTS 6.0 overall, min. 5.5 per skill
    Prior teaching or academic experience preferred but not required
  • All applicants are reviewed individually by WTA certification staff

For Language Schools & Online Academies:

  • Must offer structured TEFL or English language programs
  • Must submit syllabus, trainer qualifications, and sample materials
  • Must agree to comply with WTA quality assurance standards
  • Interview and documentation review required

For Professional Development Institutions:

  • Must offer programs for English teachers (CPD, TESOL, TEFL training, etc.)
  • Accreditation requires proof of curriculum quality and trainer credentials
  • Site audit or virtual inspection may apply depending on region and delivery mode
